| 英文： | After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him. |

| 英文： | For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. |

| 英文： | For neither did his brethren believe in him. |

| 中文： | 耶稣就对他们说，我的时候还没有到。你们的时候常是方便的。 |
| 英文： | Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. |

| 中文： | 世人不能恨你们，却是恨我。因为我指证他们所作的事是恶的。 |
| 英文： | The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. |

| 英文： | Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come. |

| 英文： | When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. |

| 中文： | 但他兄弟上去以后，他也上去过节，不是明去，似乎是暗去的。 |
| 英文： | But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. |

| 英文： | Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? |

| 中文： | 众人为他纷纷议论。有的说，他是好人。有的说，不然，他是迷惑众人的。 |
| 英文： | And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people. |

| 英文： | Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews. |

| 中文： | 到了节期，耶稣上殿里去教训人。 |
| 英文： | Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. |

| 中文： | 犹太人就希奇说，这个人没有学过，怎吗明白书呢。 |
| 英文： | And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? |

| 中文： | 耶稣说，我的教训不是我自己的，乃是那差我来者的。 |
| 英文： | Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. |

| 中文： | 人若立志遵着他的旨意行，就必晓得这教训或是出于神，或是我凭着自己说的。 |
| 英文： | If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. |

| 中文： | 人凭着自己说，是求自己的荣耀。惟有求那差他来者的荣耀，这人是真的，在他心里没有不义。 |
| 英文： | He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. |

| 中文： | 摩西岂不是传律法给你们吗。你们却没有一个人守律法。为什么想要杀我呢。 |
| 英文： | Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? |

| 中文： | 众人回答说，你是被鬼附着了。谁想要杀你。 |
| 英文： | The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? |

| 中文： | 耶稣说，我作了一件事，你们都以为希奇。 |
| 英文： | Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel. |

| 中文： | 摩西传割礼给你们，（其实不是从摩西起的，乃是从祖先起的）因此你们也要在安息日给人行割礼。 |
| 英文： | Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. |

| 中文： | 人若在安息日受割礼，免得违背摩西的律法。我在安息日叫一个人全然好了，你们就向我生气吗。 |
| 英文： | If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? |

| 英文： | Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. |

| 英文： | Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? |

| 英文： | But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? |

| 中文： | 然而我们知道这个人从那里来。只是基督来的时候，没有人知道他是从那里来的。 |
| 英文： | Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is. |

| 中文： | 那时耶稣在殿里教训人，大声说，你们也知道我，也知道我从那里来。我来并不是由于自己，但那差我来的是真的。你们不认识他。 |
| 英文： | Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. |

| 英文： | The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him. |

| 英文： | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. |

| 英文： | Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come. |

| 中文： | 犹太人就彼此对问说，这人要往那里去，叫我们找不着呢。难道他要往散住希腊中的犹太人那里去教训希腊人吗。 |
| 英文： | Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles? |

| 英文： | But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed. |

| 英文： | Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) |

| 中文： | 不先听本人的口供，不知道他所作的事，难道我们的律法还定他的罪吗。 |
| 英文： | Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth? |

| 中文： | 他们回答说，你也是出于加利利吗。你且去查考，就可知道，加利利没有出过先知。 |
| 英文： | They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet. |
