中文: | 神夺去我的理,全能者使我心中愁苦。我指着永生的神起誓。 |
英文: | As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul; |

中文: | 我的生命尚在我里面,神所赐呼吸之气,仍在我的鼻孔内。 |
英文: | All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; |
第4段 | |
中文: | 我的嘴决不说非义之言,我的舌也不说诡诈之语。 |
英文: | My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. |
第5段 | |
中文: | 我断不以你们为是,我至死必不以自己为不正。 |
英文: | God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. |
第6段 | |
中文: | 我持定我的义,必不放松。在世的日子,我心必不责备我。 |
英文: | My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. |
第7段 | |
中文: | 愿我的仇敌如恶人一样。愿那起来攻击我的,如不义之人一般。 |
英文: | Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous. |
第8段 | |
中文: | 不敬虔的人虽然得利,神夺取其命的时候,还有什么指望呢。 |
英文: | For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? |
第9段 | |
中文: | 患难临到他,神岂能听他的呼求。 |
英文: | Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him? |
第10段 | |
中文: | 他岂以全能者为乐,随时求告神呢。 |
英文: | Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God? |
第11段 | |
中文: | 神的作为,我要指教你们。全能者所行的,我也不隐瞒。 |
英文: | I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal. |
第12段 | |
中文: | 你们自己也都见过,为何全然变为虚妄呢。 |
英文: | Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain? |
第13段 | |
中文: | 神为恶人所定的分,强暴人从全能者所得的报(报原文作产业)乃是这样。 |
英文: | This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty. |
第14段 | |
中文: | 倘或他的儿女增多,还是被刀所杀。他的子孙必不得饱食。 |
英文: | If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. |
第15段 | |
中文: | 他所遗留的人必死而埋葬,他的寡妇也不哀哭。 |
英文: | Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep. |

中文: | 他虽积蓄银子如尘沙,预备衣服如泥土。 |
英文: | Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; |
第17段 | |
中文: | 他只管预备,义人却要穿上。他的银子,无辜的人要分取。 |
英文: | He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver. |
第18段 | |
中文: | 他建造房屋如虫做窝,又如守望者所搭的棚。 |
英文: | He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh. |
第19段 | |
中文: | 他虽富足躺卧,却不得收殓,转眼之间就不在了。 |
英文: | The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not. |
第20段 | |
中文: | 惊恐如波涛将他追上。暴风在夜间将他刮去。 |
英文: | Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night. |
第21段 | |
中文: | 东风把他飘去,又刮他离开本处。 |
英文: | The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place. |

中文: | 神要向他射箭,并不留情。他恨不得逃脱神的手。 |
英文: | For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. |
第23段 | |
中文: | 人要向他拍掌,并要发叱声,使他离开本处。 |
英文: | Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place. |
