英文: | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. |

英文: | And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. |

中文: | 愚拙的拿着灯,却不豫备油。 |
英文: | They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: |

中文: | 聪明的拿着灯,又豫备油在器皿里。 |
英文: | But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. |

中文: | 新郎迟延的时候,他们都打盹睡着了。 |
英文: | While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. |

中文: | 半夜有人喊着说,新郎来了,你们出来迎接他。 |
英文: | And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. |

中文: | 那些童女就都起来收拾灯。 |
英文: | Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. |

中文: | 愚拙的对聪明的说,请分点油给我们。因为我们的灯要灭了。 |
英文: | And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. |
第9段 | |
中文: | 聪明的回答说,恐怕不够你我用的。不如你们自己到卖油的那里去买吧。 |
英文: | But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. |

中文: | 他们去买的时候,新郎到了。那豫备好了的,同他进去坐席。门就关了。 |
英文: | And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. |

中文: | 其馀的童女,随后也来了,说,主阿,主阿,给我们开门。 |
英文: | Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. |

中文: | 他却回答说,我实在告诉你们,我不认识你们。 |
英文: | But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. |
第13段 | |
中文: | 所以你们要儆醒,因为那日子,那时辰,你们不知道。 |
英文: | Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. |

中文: | 天国又好比一个人要往外国去,就叫了仆人来,把他的家业交给他们。 |
英文: | For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. |
第15段 | |
中文: | 按着各人的才干,给他们银子。一个给了五千,一个给了二千,一个给了一千。就往外国去了。 |
英文: | And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. |

中文: | 那领五千的,随既拿去做买卖,另外赚了五千。 |
英文: | Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. |

中文: | 那领二千的,也照样另赚了二千。 |
英文: | And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. |

中文: | 但那领一千的,去掘开地,把主人的银子埋藏了。 |
英文: | But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. |

中文: | 过了许久,那些仆人的主人来了,和他们算账。 |
英文: | After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. |
第20段 | |
中文: | 那领五千银子的,又带着那另外的五千来,说,主阿,你交给我五千银子,请看,我又赚了五千。 |
英文: | And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. |

英文: | His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: |

中文: | 就当把我的银子放给兑换银钱的人,到我来的时候,可以连本带利收回。 |
英文: | Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. |

英文: | Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. |

中文: | 因为凡有的,还要加给他,叫他有馀。没有的,连他所有的,也要夺过来。 |
英文: | For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. |

中文: | 把这无用的仆人,丢在外面黑暗里。在那里必要哀哭切齿了。 |
英文: | And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |

中文: | 当人子在他荣耀里同着众天使降临的时候,要坐在他荣耀的宝座上。 |
英文: | When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: |

中文: | 万民都要聚集在他面前。他要把他们分别出来,好像牧羊的分别绵羊山羊一般。 |
英文: | And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: |

中文: | 把绵羊安置在右边,山羊在左边。 |
英文: | And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. |
第34段 | |
中文: | 于是王要向那右边的说,你们这蒙我父赐福的,可来承受那创世以来为你们所预备的国。 |
英文: | Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: |

中文: | 因为我饿了,你们给我吃。渴了,你们给我喝。我作客旅,你们留我住。 |
英文: | For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: |

中文: | 我赤身露体,你们给我穿。我病了,你们看顾我。我在监里,你们来看我。 |
英文: | Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. |

中文: | 义人就回答说,主阿,我们什么时候见你饿了给你吃,渴了给你喝。 |
英文: | Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? |

中文: | 什么时候见你作客旅留你住,或是赤身露体给你穿。 |
英文: | When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? |
第39段 | |
中文: | 又什么时候见你病了,或是在监里,来看你呢。 |
英文: | Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? |
第40段 | |
中文: | 王要回答说,我实在告诉你们,这些事你们既作在我这弟兄中一个最小的身上,就是作在我身上了。 |
英文: | And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. |

中文: | 王又要向那左边的说,你们这被咒诅的人,离开我,进入那为魔鬼和他的使者所豫备的永火里去。 |
英文: | Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: |

中文: | 因为我饿了,你们不给我吃。渴了,你们不给我喝。 |
英文: | For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: |

英文: | I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. |

中文: | 他们也要回答说,主阿,我们什么时候见你饿了,或渴了,或作客旅,或赤身露体,或病了,或在监里,不伺候你呢。 |
英文: | Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? |

中文: | 王要回答说,我实在告诉你们,这些事你们既不作在我这弟兄中一个最小的身上,就是不作在我身上了。 |
英文: | Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. |

中文: | 这些人要往永刑里去。那些义人要往永生里去。 |
英文: | And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. |
