英文: | When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without. |

英文: | And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face. |

英文: | They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies. |

中文: | 他们都是行淫的,像火炉被烤饼的烧热,从抟面到发面的时候,暂不使火着旺。 |
英文: | They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened. |

英文: | In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners. |

英文: | For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire. |

中文: | 众民也热如火炉,烧灭他们的官长。他们的君王都仆倒而死。他们中间无一人求告我。 |
英文: | They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me. |

中文: | 以法莲与列邦人搀杂。以法莲是没有翻过的饼。 |
英文: | Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned. |

中文: | 外邦人吞吃他劳力得来的,他却不知道,头发斑白,他也不觉得。 |
英文: | Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not. |

中文: | 以色列的骄傲当面见证自己,虽遭遇这一切,他们仍不归向耶和华他们的神,也不寻求他。 |
英文: | And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this. |

中文: | 以法莲好像鸽子愚蠢无知。他们求告埃及,投奔亚述。 |
英文: | Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria. |

中文: | 他们去的时候,我必将我的网撒在他们身上,我要打下他们,如同空中的鸟。我必按他们会众所听见的惩罚他们。 |
英文: | When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard. |

英文: | Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me. |

中文: | 他们并不诚心哀求我,乃在床上呼号。他们为求五谷新酒聚集,仍然悖逆我。 |
英文: | And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me. |

中文: | 我虽教导他们,坚固他们的膀臂,他们竟图谋抗拒我。 |
英文: | Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me. |

中文: | 他们归向,却不归向至上者。他们如同翻背的弓。他们的首领必因舌头的狂傲倒在刀下,这在埃及地必作人的讥笑。 |
英文: | They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt. |
