| 英文： | Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. |

| 英文： | And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. |

| 英文： | But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. |

| 英文： | Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. |

| 中文： | 免我们的债，如同我们免了人的债。 |
| 英文： | And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. |

| 中文： | 不叫我们遇见试探，救我们脱离凶恶，（或作脱离恶者）因为国度，权柄，荣耀，全是你的，直到永远，阿们。（有古卷无因为至阿们等字） |
| 英文： | And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. |

| 英文： | For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: |

| 中文： | 你们禁食的时候，不可像那假冒为善的人，脸上带着愁容。因为他们把脸弄得难看，故意叫人看出他们是禁食。我实在告诉你们，他们已经得了他们的赏赐。 |
| 英文： | Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. |

| 中文： | 只要积攒财宝在天上，天上没有虫子咬，不能锈坏，也没有贼挖窟窿来偷。 |
| 英文： | But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: |

| 中文： | 因为你的财宝在那里，你的心也在那里。 |
| 英文： | For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. |

| 中文： | 眼睛就是身上的灯。你的眼睛若了亮，全身就光明。 |
| 英文： | The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. |

| 中文： | 你的眼睛若昏花，全身就黑暗。你里头的光若黑暗了，那黑暗是何等大呢。 |
| 英文： | But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! |

| 中文： | 一个人不能事奉两个主。不是恶这个爱那个，就是重这个轻那个。你们不能又事奉神，又事奉玛门。（玛门是财利的意思） |
| 英文： | No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. |

| 英文： | And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. |

| 中文： | 你们这小信的人哪，野地的草，今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神还给他这样的妆饰，何况你们呢。 |
| 英文： | Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? |

| 英文： | Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? |

| 英文： | (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. |

| 英文： | But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. |

| 中文： | 所以不要为明天忧虑。因为明天自有明天的忧虑。一天的难处一天当就够了。 |
| 英文： | Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. |
