英文: | Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; |

中文: | 都在云里海里受洗归了摩西。 |
英文: | And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; |

中文: | 并且都吃了一样的灵食。 |
英文: | And did all eat the same spiritual meat; |

中文: | 也都喝了一样的灵水。所喝的是出于随着他们的灵磐石。那磐石就是基督。 |
英文: | And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. |
第5段 | |
中文: | 但他们中间,多半是神不喜欢的人。所以在旷野倒毙。 |
英文: | But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. |
第6段 | |
中文: | 这些事都是我们的监戒,叫我们不要贪恋恶事,像他们那样贪恋的。 |
英文: | Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. |

中文: | 也不要拜偶像,像他们有人拜的。如经上所记,百姓坐下吃喝,起来玩耍。 |
英文: | Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. |
第8段 | |
中文: | 我们也不要行奸淫,像他们有人行的,一天就倒毙了二万三千人。 |
英文: | Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. |

中文: | 也不要试探主,(主有古卷作基督)像他们有人试探的,就被蛇所灭。 |
英文: | Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. |
第10段 | |
中文: | 你们也不要发怨言,像他们有发怨言的,就被灭命的所灭。 |
英文: | Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. |
第11段 | |
中文: | 他们遭遇这些事,都要作为监戒。并且写在经上,正是警戒我们这末世的人。 |
英文: | Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. |
第12段 | |
中文: | 所以自己以为站得稳的,须要谨慎,免得跌倒。 |
英文: | Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. |
第13段 | |
中文: | 你们所遇见的试探,无非是人所能受的。神是信实的,必不叫你们受试探过于所能受的。在受试探的时候,总要给你们开一条出路,叫你们能忍受得住。 |
英文: | There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. |

中文: | 我所亲爱的弟兄阿,你们要逃避拜偶像的事。 |
英文: | Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. |
第15段 | |
中文: | 我好像对明白人说的,你们要审察我的话。 |
英文: | I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. |
第16段 | |
中文: | 我们所祝福的杯,岂不是同领基督的血吗。我们所擘开的饼,岂不是同领基督的身体吗。 |
英文: | The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? |
第17段 | |
中文: | 我们虽多,仍是一个饼,一个身体。因为我们都是分受这一个饼。 |
英文: | For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. |
第18段 | |
中文: | 你们看属肉体的以色列人。那吃祭物的,岂不是在祭坛上有分吗。 |
英文: | Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? |
第19段 | |
中文: | 我是怎样说呢。岂是说祭偶像之物算得什么呢。或说偶像算得什么呢。 |
英文: | What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? |
第20段 | |
中文: | 我乃是说,外邦人所献的祭,是祭鬼,不是祭神。我不愿意你们与鬼相交。 |
英文: | But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. |
第21段 | |
中文: | 你们不能喝主的杯,又喝鬼的杯。不能吃主的筵席,又吃鬼的筵席。 |
英文: | Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. |
第22段 | |
中文: | 我们可惹主的愤恨吗。我们比他还有能力吗。 |
英文: | Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? |
第23段 | |
中文: | 凡事都可行。但不都有益处。凡事都可行。但不都造就人 |
英文: | All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. |
第24段 | |
中文: | 无论何人,不要求自己的益处,乃要求别人的益处。 |
英文: | Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth. |
第25段 | |
中文: | 凡市上所卖的,你们只管吃,不要为良心的缘故问什么话。 |
英文: | Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake: |
第26段 | |
中文: | 因为地和其中所充满的,都属乎主。 |
英文: | For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof. |
第27段 | |
中文: | 倘有一个不信的请你们赴席,你们若愿意去,凡摆在你们面前的,只管吃,不要为良心的缘故问什么话。 |
英文: | If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. |

中文: | 若有人对你说,这是献过祭的物,就要为那告诉你们的人,并为良心的缘故,不吃。 |
英文: | But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof: |

中文: | 我说的良心,不是你的,乃是他的。我这自由,为什么被别人的良心论断呢。 |
英文: | Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience? |

中文: | 我若谢恩而吃,为什么因我谢恩的物被人毁谤呢。 |
英文: | For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks? |
第31段 | |
中文: | 所以你们或吃或喝,无论作什么,都要荣耀神而行。 |
英文: | Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. |
第32段 | |
中文: | 不拘是犹太人,是希腊人,是神的教会,你们都不要使他跌倒。 |
英文: | Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: |
第33段 | |
中文: | 就好像我凡事都叫众人喜欢,不求自己的益处,只求众人的益处,叫他们得救。 |
英文: | Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved. |
