《旧约 - 以赛亚书(Isaiah)》第57章

中文: 义人死亡,无人放在心上。虔诚人被收去,无人思念。这义人被收去是免了将来的祸患。
英文: The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

英文: He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

中文: 你们这些巫婆的儿子,奸夫和妓女的种子,都要前来。
英文: But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.

中文: 你们向谁戏笑,向谁张口吐舌呢。你们岂不是悖逆的儿女,虚谎的种类呢。
英文: Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,

中文: 你们在橡树中间,在各青翠树下欲火攻心。在山谷间,在石穴下杀了儿女。
英文: Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?

中文: 在谷中光滑石头里有你的分。这些就是你所得的分。你也向他浇了奠祭,献了供物。因这事我岂能容忍吗。
英文: Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?

中文: 你在高而又高的山上安设床榻,也上那里去献祭。
英文: Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.

中文: 你在门后,在门框后,立起你的记念,向外人赤露。又上去扩张床榻,与他们立约。你在那里看见他们的床,就甚喜爱。
英文: Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.

中文: 你把油带到王那里,又多加香料,打发使者往远方去,自卑自贱直到阴间。
英文: And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.

英文: Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.

中文: 你怕谁,因谁恐惧,竟说谎,不记念我,又不将这事放在心上。我不是许久闭口不言,你仍不怕我吗。
英文: And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?

中文: 我要指明你的公义。至于你所行的,都必与你无益。
英文: I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.

中文: 你哀求的时候,让你所聚集的拯救你吧。风要把他们刮散。一口气要把他们都吹去。但那投靠我的必得地土,必承受我的圣山为业。
英文: When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

中文: 耶和华要说,你们修筑修筑,豫备道路,将绊脚石从我百姓的路中除掉。
英文: And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.

中文: 因为那至高至上,永远常存,(原文作住在永远)名为圣者的如此说,我住在至高至圣的所在,也与心灵痛悔谦卑的人同居,要使谦卑人的灵苏醒,也使痛悔人的心苏醒。
英文: For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

中文: 我必不永远相争,也不长久发怒。恐怕我所造的人与灵性,都必发昏。
英文: For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

英文: For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

中文: 我看见他所行的道,也要医治他。又要引导他,使他和那一同伤心的人,再得安慰。
英文: I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

中文: 我造就嘴唇的果子。愿平安康泰归与远处的人,也归与近处的人,并且我要医治他。这是耶和华说的。
英文: I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.

中文: 惟独恶人,好像翻腾的海,不得平静,其中的水,常涌出污秽和淤泥来。
英文: But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

中文: 我的神说,恶人必不得平安。
英文: There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
