英文: | For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel. |

中文: | 耶和华向以色列家如此说,你们要寻求我,就必存活。 |
英文: | For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: |
第5段 | |
中文: | 不要往伯特利寻求,不要进入吉甲,不要过到别是巴。因为吉甲必被掳掠,伯特利也必归于无有。 |
英文: | But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought. |

中文: | 要寻求耶和华,就必存活。免得他在约瑟家像火发出,在伯特利焚烧,无人扑灭。 |
英文: | Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel. |

中文: | 你们这使公平变为茵??,将公义丢弃于地的, |
英文: | Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth, |

中文: | 要寻求那造昴星和叁星,使死荫变为晨光,使白日变为黑夜,命海水来浇在地上的,(耶和华是他的名) |
英文: | Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name: |

中文: | 他使力强的忽遭灭亡,以致保障遭遇毁坏。 |
英文: | That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress. |

中文: | 你们怨恨那在城门口责备人的,憎恶那说正直话的。 |
英文: | They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly. |
第11段 | |
中文: | 你们践踏贫民,向他们勒索麦子。你们用凿过的石头建造房屋,却不得住在其内,栽种美好的葡萄园,却不得喝所出的酒。 |
英文: | Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them. |

中文: | 我知道你们的罪过何等多,你们的罪恶何等大。你们苦待义人,收受贿赂,在城门口屈枉穷乏人。 |
英文: | For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right. |

中文: | 所以通达人见这样的时势,必静默不言。因为时势真恶。 |
英文: | Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time. |

中文: | 你们要求善,不要求恶,就必存活。这样,耶和华万军之神,必照你们所说的,与你们同在。 |
英文: | Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. |
第15段 | |
中文: | 要恶恶好善,在城门口秉公行义。或者耶和华万军之神,向约瑟的馀民施恩。 |
英文: | Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph. |

中文: | 主耶和华万军之神如此说,在一切宽阔处必有哀号的声音。在各街市上必有人说,哀哉,哀哉。又必叫农夫来哭号,叫善唱哀歌的来举哀。 |
英文: | Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the LORD, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing. |

英文: | Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. |

中文: | 景况好像人躲避狮子又遇见熊。或是进房屋以手靠墙,就被蛇咬。 |
英文: | As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. |

中文: | 耶和华的日子,不是黑暗没有光明吗。不是幽暗毫无光辉吗。 |
英文: | Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? |
第21段 | |
中文: | 我厌恶你们的节期,也不喜悦你们的严肃会。 |
英文: | I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. |

中文: | 你们虽然向我献燔祭,和素祭,我却不悦纳。也不顾你们用肥畜献的平安祭。 |
英文: | Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. |
第23段 | |
中文: | 要使你们歌唱的声音远离我。因为我不听你们弹琴的响声。 |
英文: | Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. |
第24段 | |
中文: | 惟愿公平如大水滚滚,使公义如江河滔滔。 |
英文: | But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. |
第25段 | |
中文: | 以色列家阿,你们在旷野四十年,岂是将祭物和供物献给我呢。 |
英文: | Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? |
第26段 | |
中文: | 你们抬着为自己所造之摩洛的帐幕,和偶像的龛,并你们的神星。 |
英文: | But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. |

中文: | 所以我要把你们掳到大马士革以外。这是耶和华,名为万军之神说的。 |
英文: | Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts. |
