| 英文： | Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. |

| 中文： | 但起假誓，不践前言，杀害，偷盗，奸淫，行强暴，杀人流血，接连不断。 |
| 英文： | By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. |

| 中文： | 因此，这地悲哀，其上的民，田野的兽，空中的鸟，必都衰微，海中的鱼也必消灭。 |
| 英文： | Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. |

| 英文： | Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest. |

| 英文： | Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother. |

| 中文： | 我的民因无知识而灭亡。你弃掉知识，我也必弃掉你，使你不再给我作祭司。你既忘了你神的律法，我也必忘记你的儿女。 |
| 英文： | My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. |

| 中文： | 祭司越发增多，就越发得罪我。我必使他们的荣耀变为羞辱。 |
| 英文： | As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. |

| 中文： | 他们吃我民的赎罪祭，满心愿意我民犯罪。 |
| 英文： | They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity. |

| 中文： | 将来民如何，祭司也必如何，我必因他们所行的惩罚他们，照他们所做的报应他们。 |
| 英文： | And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings. |

| 中文： | 他们吃，却不得饱。行淫，而不得立后。因为他们离弃耶和华，不遵他的命。 |
| 英文： | For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD. |

| 英文： | Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart. |

| 中文： | 我的民求问木偶，以为木杖能指示他们，因为他们的淫心使他们失迷，他们就行淫离弃神，不守约束。 |
| 英文： | My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God. |

| 中文： | 在各山顶，各高冈的橡树，杨树，栗树之下，献祭烧香，因为树影美好。所以，你们的女儿淫乱，你们的新妇（或作儿妇下同）行淫。 |
| 英文： | They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery. |

| 中文： | 你们的女儿淫乱，你们的新妇行淫，我却不惩罚她们，因为你们自己离群与娼妓同居，与妓女一同献祭。这无知的民必致倾倒。 |
| 英文： | I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall. |

| 英文： | Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The LORD liveth. |

| 英文： | For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place. |

| 英文： | Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone. |

| 英文： | Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye. |

| 英文： | The wind hath bound her up in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices. |
