中文: | 他们把难担的重担,捆起来搁在人的肩上。但自己一个指头也不肯动。 |
英文: | For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. |

中文: | 他们一切所作的事,都是要叫人看见。所以将佩戴的经文做宽了,衣裳的??子做长了。 |
英文: | But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, |

中文: | 但你们不要受拉比的称呼。因为只有一位是你们的夫子。你们都是弟兄。 |
英文: | But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. |
第9段 | |
中文: | 也不要称呼地上的人为父。因为只有一位是你们的父,就是在天上的父。 |
英文: | And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. |

中文: | 也不要受师尊的称呼。因为只有一位是你们的师尊,就是基督。 |
英文: | Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. |

中文: | 你们中间谁为大,谁就要作你们的用人。 |
英文: | But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. |

中文: | 凡自高的必降为卑,自卑的必升为高。 |
英文: | And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. |

英文: | But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. |

英文: | Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. |

英文: | Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. |

中文: | 你们这瞎眼领路的有祸了。你们说,凡指着殿起誓的,这算不得什么。只是凡指着殿中金子起誓的,他就该谨守。 |
英文: | Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! |

英文: | Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? |

中文: | 你们又说,凡指着坛起誓的,这算不得什么。只是指着坛上礼物起誓的,他就该谨守。 |
英文: | And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. |

中文: | 你们这瞎眼的人哪,什么是大的,是礼物呢,还是叫礼物成圣的坛呢。 |
英文: | Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? |
第20段 | |
中文: | 所以人指着坛起誓,就是指着坛和坛上一切所有的起誓。 |
英文: | Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. |
第21段 | |
中文: | 人指着殿起誓,就是指着殿和住在殿里的起誓。 |
英文: | And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. |

中文: | 人指着天起誓,就是指着神的宝座和那坐在上面的起誓。 |
英文: | And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. |
第23段 | |
中文: | 你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了。因为你们将薄荷,茴香,芹菜,太23:23)献上十分之一。那律法上更重的事,就是公义,怜悯,信实,反倒不行了。这更重的是你们当行的;那也是不可不行的。 |
英文: | Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. |

英文: | Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. |

中文: | 你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了。因为你们洗净杯盘的外面,里面却盛满了勒索和放荡。 |
英文: | Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. |

英文: | Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. |

中文: | 你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了。因为你们好像粉饰的坟墓,外面好看,里面却装满了死人的骨头,和一切的污秽。 |
英文: | Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. |

英文: | Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, |

中文: | 若是我们在我们祖宗的时候,必不和他们同流先知的血。 |
英文: | And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. |
第31段 | |
中文: | 这就是你们自己证明,是杀害先知者的子孙了。 |
英文: | Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. |

中文: | 你们去充满你们祖宗的恶贯吧。 |
英文: | Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. |

中文: | 你们这些蛇类,毒蛇之种阿,怎能逃脱地狱的刑罚呢。 |
英文: | Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? |
第34段 | |
中文: | 所以我差谴先知和智慧人并文士,到你们这里来。有的你们要杀害,要钉十字架。有的你们要在会堂里鞭打,从这城追逼到那城。 |
英文: | Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: |

中文: | 叫世上所流义人的血,都归到你们身上。从义人亚伯拉罕的血起,直到你们在殿和坛中间所杀的巴拉加的儿子撒迦利亚的血为止。 |
英文: | That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. |
