| 中文： | 要使这百姓心蒙脂油，耳朵发沉，眼睛昏迷。恐怕眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，便得医治。 |
| 英文： | Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. |

| 英文： | Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, |

| 中文： | 境内剩下的人，若还有十分之一，也必被吞灭。像栗树，橡树，虽被砍伐，树？？子，却仍存留。这圣洁的种类在国中也是如此。 |
| 英文： | But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof. |
